Rite of Passage

Rite of Passage is a role-playing game designed for 4 to 5 players and a Storyteller to explore a world outside of the secretive Valley which has long sheltered the Tribe.

Players take on the role of young adults coming of age in the Tribe and completing their Rite of Passage, a journey outside of the Valley to retrieve artefects from the world beyond the Valley and return with information about the outside world.

The game uses a 3d20+attribute system with set target values depending on the difficulty of the task.

Rite of Passage is designed to be a collaborative story where players and the Storyteller (games master) create the world and fill in many details as they go through the use of the Legends mechanic which allows players to retroactively create new locations or information in the world as is becomes necessary.
